Some projects take weeks to make. Some take months.
And apparently, some take over a year to finally leave the meeting room.
We’re excited (and slightly embarrassed) to finally announce the release of The Staff Meeting, our satirical workplace comedy podcast from the fictional halls of Moco Inc.
The podcast was originally supposed to launch over a year ago.
Naturally, there were delays.
Meetings happened.
Things got complicated.
And somehow, here we are.
On August 10, 2026, The Staff Meeting finally became a real thing.
Welcome to Moco Inc.
The Staff Meeting follows Janice Whatshername and Señor Leonidas Moco as they attempt to navigate the everyday chaos of office life.
Think workplace bureaucracy, questionable productivity advice, bizarre employee problems, awkward meetings, and the kind of situations that make you wonder how anyone manages to get actual work done.
Each episode dives into another ridiculous workplace dilemma, with Janice and Mr. Moco attempting to provide answers, solutions, and the occasional questionable judgment call.
Basically, it’s the kind of workplace where “that’s not really our policy” is probably the closest thing to a crisis-management strategy.
So… Why Did This Take So Long?
Honestly?
Because making a podcast is one thing.
Making a podcast where we’re also creating the characters, writing the situations, recording the voices, building the visual world, creating artwork, editing everything, and generally finding increasingly creative ways to avoid releasing it…
That’s a whole different staff meeting.
The idea for The Staff Meeting has been sitting around for far too long, waiting for its moment.
And eventually we decided:
Enough meetings. It’s going out.
So on August 10, we finally released Episode 01:
We Don’t Accept That Form of Payment
Our first episode introduces us to Bruce Cody, a fitness instructor with a rather unusual workplace problem involving an attempted payment that absolutely does not qualify as acceptable currency at Moco Inc.
We’ll let you discover the rest.
Let’s just say that HR has some concerns.
A Podcast About Work… Sort Of
At its heart, The Staff Meeting is about the absurdity of work.
The weird emails.
The unnecessary meetings.
The corporate language.
The workplace politics.
The strange requests that somehow become your problem.
And those moments when you look around and think:
“Is this actually happening?”
We’ve all been there.
The Staff Meeting just takes those situations and pushes them considerably further.
We’re building the podcast as a comedy project, but we’re also having fun experimenting with storytelling, character design, animation, audio, and visual elements to create a world that feels like it exists beyond the podcast itself.
Because if we’re going to make a fake corporation, we’re going to make it unnecessarily elaborate.
Finally Out of the Meeting
After more than a year of “we should really release this,” The Staff Meeting is officially out in the world.
Was the wait worth it?
We certainly hope so.
At the very least, Moco Inc. would like to remind everyone that this delay was completely intentional and definitely not caused by poor project management.
That’s our story, and we’re sticking to it.
