So lets talk about music but in the form of what’s your favorite music genre?
If you know me personally or you follow me on social media, you probably know I have a love for Rap and Hip Hop music…This is probably from growing up with a dad who loved driving his mustang to Tone Loc from my brothers and I obsessin over of Run DMC to my cousin introducing me to french rap on a mixed CD he gave me when he came back from Europe to workin at a college radio station for four years. From discovering local artists like Bleubird, Astronautalis to Ceschi all the way to Sage Francis and Scroobius Pip.
There’s something that I absolutely love about rap. There’s an energy with hip hop and rap that while I love other genres, hip hop and rap is a type of sound that fills my heart and pumps me up on my darkest days. Lets just blame it on the poetry.
