Here is a Review of Carbon Platinum Ink. I don’t know why I didn’t try this ink sooner. Thank you, Quillomancer on Reddit for recommending Carbon Ink I really love the flow and how it dries and overall looks I think I’ve found my winner in terms of ink for the long haul.
Review of Carbon Platinum Ink
If you’re looking for an ink that won’t smear and works great with watercolors I really recommend Carbon Ink. – I’m currently using these Platinum Carbon Ink fountain pens. I really love the two nibs I currently have, I just need to find a converter for my broad nib and I’ll be all set to go in the land of pens for a while.
For a while, I’ve struggled with purchasing so many pens, especially with how fast I go through them. I really started looking into refillable ink cartridges and am so glad I decided to revisit a Reddit post I put out into an artist community in terms of ink sometime last year, I had just finished a bottle and was particularly interested to hear what others were using. I knew the inks I really didn’t care for that existed in the art stores I currently went to. And what I was in the market for. While I really enjoyed the Tombows I couldn’t justify how long they lasted to repurchase.
But I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the carbon ink so far and feel better environmentally about how much ink I waste. I’m going to be investing in refillable tubes for each pen so I can test out other brands of Carbon Ink I’ve had my eyes on.
Hope you’re doing awesome,
Alethea/Inkeater
